Read MoreJohn Deere Z9 commercial mowers are known for their performance and durability, but sometimes, the one-size-fits-all approach doesn't quite fit all, especially when it comes to control lever height. Whether you're looking for enhanced comfort or simply need your mower to cater to a taller stature, installing control lever extenders is a straightforward solution. Let's walk through the process.

Installation Process
To remove the control handles, start by using a 15mm deep socket to loosen and remove the nuts from both the top and bottom of the control handle. It's important to use a deep socket due to the length of these bolts. After removing the nuts, make sure to keep the bolts in the control arm for re-use in the later steps.
To install the control lever extenders, begin by preparing the extender plate by taking it out of its package. Position the plate correctly on the control arm and temporarily secure it with the bottom nut. Next, insert the new bolt through the extender plate and into the top hole of the control lever, ensuring the square collar matches the square hole on the bracket. Reattach the control lever, making sure it is oriented correctly, and secure it with the top nut. Finally, adjust the lever to your preference and tighten both the top and bottom nuts to secure the lever in its new, elevated position.
By adding these extenders, you not only adjust the height of the control levers for a more comfortable grip but also enhance the overall ergonomics of your mower. This adjustment can lead to reduced fatigue during long mowing sessions and improved control, making your mowing experience that much better.
