Footrest Kit Part Number: BUC10332

The John Deere Footrest Kit is a handy attachment that allows you to rest your feet while mowing, but also doubles as a handle attachment making it easier to lift and remove the foot platform for quick and easy maintenance.

We’ll tell you how to install this clever footrest attachment as well as where you can get one below.

In the footrest kit:

      - Two black, polymer footrests
      - 13-mm wrench
      - 13-mm ratchet
      - Four bolts and nuts

Notice the six small flat holes located along the top of the foot platform, shown here. Each footrest will be mounted using these holes. While you will only need four holes, there are six to allow the operator to choose the position of each footrest on the foot platform, either at an angle or straight. This is completely personal preference, so choose whichever works best for you. We will install the footrests each way so you can see the difference.

To begin, place one of the black, polymer footrests on the foot platform so the holes line up with those on the foot platform. Then thread two of the bolts through the holes and raise the platform so you can easily place the nuts on the backside of each bolt. Tighten the nuts down using the 13-mm ratchet and wrench. Repeat on the opposite side of the foot platform and lower the platform back into place.

And that’s it! You have now successfully installed a Footrest Kit onto a John Deere Z735M Zero-Turn Mower!
