This event offers high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to showcase their skills in agricultural mechanics, competing for $120,000 in scholarships and prizes.

This competition not only allows participats to demonstrate their mechanical skills, but also introduces them to the field of agricultural technology. It’s a chance for students from all backgrounds, regardless of prior agricultural experience, to get a feel for what it's like to work in such a stable and rewarding industry.

Event Highlights & Additional Opportunities

Participants will undergo tests including a written exam covering general mechanics and hands-on evaluations involving John Deere equipment. Tools will be provided, and industry experts will judge the event. This is not a team event; however, we encourage multiple entries from schools to foster a competitive spirit.

The competition will also offes a glimpse into future career paths within Western Equipment, with potential summer internships and networking opportunities with industry professionals.
